Hotel Histórico Central

The hotel was immaculate and had everything I could possibly need on hand (chilled bottled water, apples for snacking, a cafe, and a superb brunch). The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our fabulous trio of supportive staff included: Arturo, Gonzalo, and Roberto. This hotel was positioned in the perfect spot and was within walking distance of all the major historical areas I wanted to see - and there is a LOT to see. Stay at this hotel. Highly recommended.

Hotel was excellent, from the ride from the airport, to the greeting, the breakfast staff, cafe, the rooms were very clean. The breakfast was delicious and staff super friendly. When my family got sick they put together a tray of food that wouldn’t upset our stomachs. On my son’s birthday the hotel put together a dish with macaroons and candy, a toy, and a note wishing him happy birthday. They checked in on my son when he got sick as well. Love the free cafe, and water bottles on every floor. The inside and outside is beautiful, and located in great area, always felt safe. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel, it was great.

Beautiful property, with attention to details! Absolutely loved our 3 night stay here. Breakfast service was wonderful and the all inclusive 24 hour Cafe was an added bonus. The location can't be beaten, and is withing walking distance of several of the historic sites in CDMX, and numerous food options. Highly recommended a stay! It's value for money!

The way natural light floods the space adds to its allure. Although the rooms are on the smaller side, a reminder of its 4-star status, this in no way diminishes the comfort and coziness they offer. Minor maintenance issues like a loose shower handle and a chipped floor were present, but these were mere trifles in the grand scheme of things, especially given the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms. What sets this hotel apart, however, is its unparalleled ability to make guests feel truly welcomed. Unlike many establishments where guests can feel like mere revenue sources, here you are embraced as a treasured guest of Mexico. The inclusiveness extends to amenities - the Cafe, with its range of drinks and light food options, is complimentary for guests. This generosity is a refreshing change from the usual nickel-and-diming found elsewhere. Adding to the charm is the 3-hour walking tour of downtown, offered to guests - a gesture that deepens the connection with the locale.
